What were you thinking BBC? Covering a massively traumatic and recent event for a Christmas episode! I love #DoctorWho but you left me distraught and in tears on Christmas day. It was clumsy and unnecessary. I feel sad and disappointed when I was looking for Joy!

I had a few hours spare on the train yesterday so I started a pocketDDD Blazor (with Fluxor) implementation: github.com/RossDScott/Poc… Early days, but happy so far. Hopefully will complete it in time for #dddsw next month. Will also be the focus of my session (if picked).

Choosing just 8 was difficult! So many good sessions this year.

@carlcod_es @jasonelkin86 Had exactly the same view. It keeps getting better, S3 is stunning. Early S1 felt a bit clumsy.

@RossDScott @jasonelkin86 Ah, ok, that’s good to know. Maybe I’ll give it a proper go. I’d sort of dismissed it as a half star-trek without giving it a proper chance.

@carlcod_es @jasonelkin86 We've just been binge watching it, and I think they dealt with really complex issues in an incredibly sensitive way. Was very impressed with the level of sci-fi too. Had quite low expectations to begin with.

@jasonelkin86 I've always been drawn to Star Trek BECAUSE it was a Utopian future view, the best of Humanity. Star Wars being the opposite, a dystopian view. The Orville always just seemed like a weird middle ground, and I remain unconvinced about it myself. Might give it another go...
