people who believe trans athletes should not be competing in sport are absolutely not acting in good faith or they would've done their research and learned that trans women actually do not have an unfair advantage over cis women. it's nothing but discrimination and moral panic.

just in case i didn't articulate this well: i think sophie said what she feels and she is coming from an authentic place. i think the anti-trans sports thing has two major factions, good-faith people who care a lot about women's sports, and politicians who take advantage of that care in service of a much more far reaching agenda

Lot of Lauri talk on this platform today. Quck reminder. First 14 games of the last year he shot 49% FG, 39% 3pt, 89% FT and scored 31 pts per game and was playing so hard people were legitimately concerned he would hurt himself.
