Culture Secretary @AngusRobertson supported the launch of Scotland’s Centre of Excellence for Canals and Traditional Skills. Funded by £3.7m from @HeritageFundSCO, the Centre will train apprentices in skills such as stonemasonry; the trade of @angusrobertson's ancestors.

It’s almost 25 years since the Forth & Clyde Canal re-opened under the historic Millennium Link project. We’re now embarking on the next big programme of works, replacing the wooden gates at eleven locks along the Falkirk Flight in 2025 and 2026. ⬇
