The Ukrainian leadership crossed a line. We did not seek conflict, yet for days now Hungary has been in the crosshairs. Still, neither threats from the president, nor from the foreign minister, nor from extremist military groups will deter us from standing up for the interests of Hungarians. ❌ We will not send money to Ukraine - it is better off with Hungarian families than in the bathroom of a Ukrainian oligarch. ❌We will not allow a ban on Russian oil and gas imports - without them there is no utility cost reduction and no affordable energy for Hungarian families. ❌And we will not allow Ukraine to be pushed into the European Union within 2 years by trampling on EU law - that would mean importing the war as well. As long as Hungary has a patriotic government, decisions on these matters will not be made in Kyiv and not in Brussels either. This is well understood in Ukraine too. That is why they want a new, pro-Ukraine government in Budapest, and why the threats never stop. Hungary's future will be decided by Hungarians. 🇭🇺

Today, the US delegation met in Paris with the constituents of the Coalition of the Willing as well as the Ukrainian delegation to advance President Trump’s peace plan on Ukraine. The US delegation included Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, General Alex Grynkewich, Ambassador Charles Kushner, and White House advisor Josh Gruenbaum. We held several meetings with the Europeans, including President Macron, and the Ukrainians, including President Zelenskyy, and are encouraged by the collaborative approach and partnership between the parties. We have made significant progress on several critical workstreams, including our bilateral security guarantee framework and a prosperity plan. The Coalition also released a statement outlining its framework to a security guarantee. We agree with the Coalition that durable security guarantees and robust prosperity commitments are essential to a lasting peace in the Ukraine and we will continue to work together on this effort. We will be continuing our discussions with the Ukrainian delegation this evening and tomorrow, and we are hopeful to achieve additional positive momentum in the near future.

На информационном стенде в нашем лагерном бараке висит листовка, направленная на профилактику экстремизма. Мало кто обращает на неё внимание, а я вот полюбопытствовал. И знаете что? По-моему, это в чистом виде разоблачение Путина. Ну смотрите. 1. В верхней части листовки сообщается, что экстремисты – это люди, которые (цитирую) «пропагандируют нарушение целостности страны, создают незаконные вооруженные группировки, призывают к введению войск и насилию, распространяют ложь и разжигают ненависть». Скажите, пожалуйста – что это, если не описание политики Путина в отношении Украины? По-моему, лаконично и чётко сформулирована её суть. 2. Далее в листовке приводится «психологический портрет экстремиста»: агрессивный, жестокий, ведущий себя иррационально человек. Опять же – разве не с Путина написан этот портрет? Именно его жестокость и агрессия привели к войне с десятками тысяч жертв. А сам факт вторжения в Украину даже его сторонниками часто расценивается как непродуманное иррациональное решение. 3. Наконец, листовка даёт рекомендации по распознанию экстремиста, отмечая свойственные ему характеристики. И тут снова каждый пункт – будто нарочно про Путина. Желание манипулировать? Это фирменный стиль Путина. Обесценивание чужой жизни? 100%. «Мы попадём в рай, а они просто сдохнут». Мания величия? О да, размером с Антарктиду. Ведь Путину «даже поговорить не с кем после смерти Махатмы Ганди». Поиск врага? Это вообще главное занятие Путина в последние годы. Склонность к риску? Несомненно. Только рисковый, даже авантюрный человек решился бы начать самую большую в Европе войну после второй мировой. *** В общем, не знаю, что имели в виду авторы этой «антиэкстремистской» листовки для зеков – но получился у них вполне годный оппозиционный материал. А бы такие листовки печатал большим тиражом и по все стране распространял. Если у человека хоть капля мозгов есть, он всё правильно поймёт.
