@IyakkMrin29 @flyPAL @clarkairport Imagine, they were servicing 3 flights at that time. Im going to Basco, then may Busuanga and may isa pa. And they only have a total of 5 counters, 3 for economy, 1 for bagdrop and 1 for Comfort Class, the MM ELITES and PWDs, SC... PAL should open more counters!

@flyPAL @Rotaractor @clarkairport that is the problem when there is no dedicated counter to a specific route. konti lang counter na open, konti staff pero all routes ang chinicheck in.

Hi @flyPAL your @clarkairport Check in Counter is disorganized. Commfort Class and PWD is extremely long line as the queue is also used for Bag Drop. I hope maayos ito especially for me who is both a PWD and someone who bought Comfort Class. Not comforting at all.

You know what’s surprising? Ex-Kapamilya news personalities—usually vocal on issues—are noticeably silent amid Bilyonaryo’s apparent PR attack campaign. No resignations, no statements, no pushback. Silence speaks volumes.

@CleveArguelles First things first, who is the GENUINE OPPOSITION? The Liberals claim that they are, but they are in cahoots with the BBM administration against the Dutertes.

An opposition supermajority in Hungary is finally here after decades of illiberal Orban/Fidesz dominance— what a fight, what a triumph for the people of Hungary. And if you’re watching it from the Philippines, here’s what I think are the lessons that can be gained by opposition forces in the Philippines ahead of another consequential national elections in 2028. Viktor Orbán’s (Fidesz) defeat by Péter Magyar (Tisza) is in many ways a case of successful opposition coordination under conditions of dominant-party rule. It illustrates how opposition coalitions win when they solve three interrelated problems: coordination, signaling, and coalition expansion. First, opposition pre-electoral coordination was decisive and unusually disciplined. Rather than sustaining a fragmented field, opposition actors converged on a single electoral vehicle in the Tisza Party. Competing parties and potential standard-bearers either withdrew, declined to field parallel slates, or subordinated their campaigns to a unified opposition effort. The effect was to approximate a one-versus-one contest against the incumbent Fidesz–KDNP bloc. In electoral terms, this eliminated vote-splitting and maximized the efficiency with which opposition votes were translated into seats. A Philippine opposition win in 2028 will likely require ruthless pre-election coordination— withdrawals of potential vote-splitters must be forced and we cannot afford to be sentimental in coalition-building. Second, the opposition coalition combined ideological heterogeneity with high message discipline. The opposition encompassed actors spanning liberal, social-democratic, and conservative positions, yet it campaigned on a delimited rhetoric on corruption and economic decay. Ideological diversity expanded the potential electorate, but message discipline ensured that this diversity did not translate into noise. A successful coalition must transform diffuse dissatisfaction into a coherent electoral signal. This means that while a potential 2028 opposition coalition is expected to be ideologically wide, it must do its best to be rhetorically narrow. Disagreement in such coalitions is inevitable but voters must not be dragged into the mud unnecessarily. Finally, and perhaps most consequentially, the case highlights the role of regime (or enemy!) defectors in enabling coalition expansion. Peter’s trajectory as a former insider of the ruling ecosystem provided both symbolic and strategic advantages. It signaled to voters that defection from the regime was legitimate and lowered the reputational costs for other elites and voters to follow. More importantly, it allowed the opposition to penetrate constituencies that would otherwise remain inaccessible. This suggests that the Philippine opposition is unlikely to benefit from ideological (or factional!) purity but from their potential capacity to absorb and redeploy defectors from other blocs. Beyond embracing defectors, it looks like the Philippine opposition should also actively cultivate credible breakaways from rival factions. Taken together, among the lessons we can potentially learn from the recent Hungary elections is that opposition coalitions can win even against the odds if they can be more disciplined and strategic. And that means that a win for the Philippine opposition in 2028 will require fewer candidates, fewer messages, fewer exclusions (or purity tests!), and fewer moving parts. We seek not a marketplace of opposition voices, but a coordinated, competitive, and credible opposition capable of mobilizing the biggest number of votes. Chart 1: Projected seats based on 99% of the votes counted. More than 2/3 of the seats have been won by Tisza. Chart 2: Vote margin by municipality. Big cities rewarded Tisza with high margins: Budapest +33, Debrecen +23, Szeged +39. Chart 3: Votes, adjusted to population density. The most populated city won by Fidesz is already among the smallest Hungarian cities.

While editing NEMO 3.0, stumbled upon old maps w/ the north-south split Might come pretty handy soon! Aquino got a 2:1 margin in Metro Manila and also in LLC, while Marcoleta 2:1 in Mindanao. Give your 1v1 matchup and let’s see how it fares (we have Pangilinan v Marcoleta & Bondoc v Mendoza too)

@Rotaractor @sicarlsy Yes. VG's course in FEU was Political Science though until the first year only if I'm not mistaken. VG's views might look like the woke train but it's passable in the eyes of the mainstream society; at least better than the others.
