On this Battle of the Atlantic Sunday, take a moment to remember the sailors of the Royal Canadian Navy who served in the Battle of the Atlantic. Through courage, sacrifice, and steadfast commitment, they kept the lifeline of the Atlantic open and helped secure victory. We remember them. 🇨🇦 (Rowley Murphy, Convoy in Rough Weather)

On this day in 1915, John McCrae wrote his famous poem “In Flanders Fields”. It was written by McCrae after he presided over the funeral of a friend and fellow soldier during the First World War. The poem was officially published in Punch Magazine on December 8th, 1915. So many years later, his poem continues to poignantly express the tragedy and losses of war, and the importance of carrying on their memories. #LestWeForget

The longest continuous campaign of WW2… the BofA was an all-out effort by the navy, merchant marine, and industry. It was a multinational success that literally changed the tide of the war. Lessons of our past are ever-present. We are grateful for the sacrifices of who gave us what often take for granted today. 🫡

At a time when the Canadian government is considering going door-to-door to disarm Canadian Citizens, the Canadian Armed Forces is commissioning non-citizens as Officers. Officers who, for cultural reasons, treat women, including their Officer peers, like shit. nationalpost.com/opinion/jamie-…

Chief Justice Richard Wagner has refused to recuse himself from an Emergencies Act invocation case, despite previously making public comments about the situation. Canadians remember that TWO courts have already found the government’s use of the Emergencies Act to be unjustified and unconstitutional. When a judge has publicly weighed in against a case, reasonable Canadians will ask if this decision is truly impartial. Conservatives will continue to stand up for accountability and defend Canadians’ civil liberties because no government is above the law.

Canadians are seriously getting SCREWED at the pumps. Over $2 a litre today where I’m at. Way cheaper in the United States, like most things 👀 I hope Canadians realize how badly they’re getting screwed financially 🇨🇦

Thanks this is great it’s show approx 1.9 million barrels can be refined pre day. Alberta current daily is: So we need America’s refinery to help we are 2.1 million short. Liberals scared trillions dollars of investment with Bill C63 and C69 - tanker and pipeline ban, the east also produces oil and the also refine Saudi Oil in Newfoundland/Nova Scotia with Irvin refinery. We are short capacity to refine so it’s either store which capacity is limited or ship south to Chicago or Texas. Alberta produces approximately 4.2 million barrels of oil per day on average as of early 2026 (the most recent detailed data available). oilsandsmagazine.com

Trump: I'm building an oil pipeline from Alberta to the US. Carney: I most definitely might build a pipeline from Alberta to the Pacific at some point, maybe. Donald Trump is doing more for nation building projects in Canada than Mark Carney.
