This is the terrible, tragic reality of the war in Gaza - a daily death toll higher than the conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, and Ukraine put together. It is shameful that the Government are standing idly by while tens of thousands of innocent people have lost their lives.

Soaring rents are pushing private tenants to breaking point with huge numbers falling into arrears and at risk of eviction and homelessness. We need a strengthened Renters Reform Bill with additional protections for tenants against extortionate within-tenancy rent rises.
