@AndrewGspeedrun How is that unfair to everyone else who could so choose to do this or not? Especially when thers no gameplay advantage?

@RotoDoc Right, but the argument has always extended to these people as well? That's to say, it's a fair competition between those with physical limitations and those who prefer to have ergonomics.

I would say there is an extreme disconnect between casual viewers/speedrunners and the top runners of any given game. You'll spend a year getting a world record but you're "taking it too seriously" if you disagree with rule changes that effect the top players: Turbo, Breaks, Etc

@AndrewGspeedrun Turbo and breaks arent just for physical limitations. They also have to do with preserving the hand health of those playing the games. If you want to destroy healthy hands, by all means go for it.

@RotoDoc ??? If someone has a physical limitation and a category is created to allow this player to compete (such as a turbo category), is this not the same thing?

@RotoDoc In terms of accessibility in terms of like turbo and such, this is exactly in line though. In terms of accessibility in terms of being able to simply play a game that's not what I'm comparing this to. I'm saying categories should exist for the concerns of all playersm if valid.

@RotoDoc Oddly this wasn't with that in mind, but suppose there's some argument to be made. I mean, I want accessibility which is why I never fussed about that in the first place. I want the best of both worlds with this stuff, which is why having categories is a good option.
