Thanks to a grant, NWS Tulsa, OSU, and others are working together on soundings with uncrewed vehicles (drones). @NWStulsa @okstate @RoninInstitute @virginia_tech

Our local chapter hosted a private screening over the weekend of the new @Twistersmovie and had a BLAST! Congrats to our friends and colleagues that helped with this movie!

Scott Curl from @NWSNorman says despite all the tornadoes it didn’t feel chaotic in the office. The teams stayed calm and continued. He added that the day after was much more chaotic due to storm survey, media calls, and other post-event situations.

We’re talking more than just the F5 tornado in Moore. This was a tornado outbreak in Oklahoma and Kansas with more than 70 tornadoes produced.
