I based him a bit more off of the old Yōichi Kotabe sketches meant for the CGI Nintendo 64 stuff but he is about finished!

@Baldimoral Broken Ruler should be much lower. Sure he won't kill you, but he's silent as a mouse and he can be right on you without you even knowing. You can die instantly as soon as he repairs his ruler.

My personal dream is that after Chapter 5 releases, we get an announcement that the next update will be a gameplay overhaul/chapter parity update which brings all the chapters in line with each other... i can dream...!!

I think that Deltarune's biggest flaw is its lack of commitment toward gameplay mechanics and smaller aspects of the narrative target mechanic abandoned, item fusion abandoned, castle town dojo neglected, not enough special ACTs, no new character skills/spells, no chapter parity

@DOfficialRalsei @yandhiisntreal That's fair. I can see an intent to form an agenda to "Knock Toby down a peg", since a lot of the paper is just Toby Fox ad hominem. Although, I still don't think the author has malice toward queer people as OP claimed, especially since they use Kris's correct pronouns.

@Stella_Hoshii You get me. I originally bought my Index for Alyx, but i decided to try boneworks first. But then i played alyx 2 months later and was slightly disappointed with the interactivity because I was spoiled by boneworks' freedom.

What stands out most in my memory is the first VR game I ever played, Boneworks. It felt more like a VR concept demo, but it blew me away—I remember thinking, “omg This is the future”.
I was even a little disappointed with Alyx because I think it's too “VR newbie-friendly”.

When I was a kid, I imagined that the hyper-realistic games of the future would let you interact with the environment and physics just like in real world. But in reality, all they care about now is adding a few more pores and strands of hair to the characters' faces.

In this video Nerrel interviews some random indie devs about their early-3D style platformer and they start talking about not being able to turn in midair in Mario 64 as a problem that they wanted to avoid in their game and if they made it like that now then no one would play it
