@MrMoy9 Think it goes to a few areas, the artwork does make it look better. 1. Galaxy Movie gave a false sense of what this game style/look would be 2. Fox + others have boots, now animal but human hands, weird combo people not used to 3. Very realistic, no real star fox character vibe

@frixiot @SkySkater_ Fox even in early designs has been depicted with boots. And human-like boots. So seeing the change is quite the reaction if you're used to something. He also has hands, so realistic fox, human hands, realistic feet. It's a bit conflicted

@SkySkater_ I don’t even go here but why does everyone seem to have a problem with the small feet? It’s pretty accurate for your typical red fox, big feet give off a more generic canid build

@RGT_85 I am a huge fan of the series. The environments look amazing, the sound design I'm sure is fantastic, the extra scenes and story is nice. I get people's frustration that for the 4/5th time in the series it's the same story, no others or progress, And the very real soulless look

Some of these Nintendo "fans" are insufferable. You don't like Star Fox, ok cool. But how you gonna bitch about a game, in 2026, revealed/dropping in less than 2 months, that looks great, added cool online multiplayer, challenge mode, and is $50. You spend that on 1 amiibo you dorks.

@artofnanobit Yeah I get that, very 70/80's film-esc style and design with it or effects. This looks probably started with that as a foundation and then went, let's go realistic and kinda soul-less? When the puppet aesthetic didn't match the realism of the environments.

@davidcbeaudoin Yeah that game gave them great models, I think this is the 4th time they've redone this story for the series as well. I agree it would've been nice for a new story for the series.

@RowanFN They really should have handed it off to the developers of Starlink: Battle for Atlas and used a lot of that game as a template. I wanted a new Star Fox, but not this; not another rehash of 64. Super disappointed.

@JakeRandall I would say physical games still the larger % People's meaning of making sense to buy digital can really vary, and is a valid option than the top one, because some games are digital only for instance. Having 76%+ be physical buyers is showing a strong desire for more physical

Physical only gamers need to see this. In a poll with a sample size of 10,000 people (who are subscribed to Nintendo life so definitely buy video games) people who are physical only are less than 10% of consumers. Even less than those who are ONLY digital! Times have changed.
