@London_W4 ‘Nice & Sloe’

Behold my Sloe Gin! I picked these Sloes in September from the banks of the Grand Union Canal near Greenford and made into gin. It’s now ready. Look at that gorgeous colour. Decanting into bottles and taste test very soon. I just need to think of a name for it to print the labels

@AutoInfatuation My thoughts, exactly! I suspect we’re just going to have to get used to garish grilles but I very much like the rest of it. Will be interesting to see LWB version (and the price) as there’s definitely not much luggage capacity on the VLE launch models. Range will be crucial.

@RowanGallery Grill is a tad BMW but other than that they look lovely, allegedly there is a VLS coming soon which will be the LWB. If they have a sensible range I’ll not have any issue with them at all.

@AutoInfatuation what are your thoughts on the new VLE?

@London_W4 Alastair, I believe they were designed for pot boys (glass collectors) to pass easily through separate drinking areas whilst maintaining segregation for particular groups of customers.

I was taught that it's not polite to boast about your own achievements. But I'm really proud of what I achieved here, taking individual, damaged, reclaimed parquet floor blocks, making into and then laying a beautiful floor in an unusual location. Well done me

@gsmales No, nothing near it. My dad had nine W126 S-Class (380/420/500) from 1983 to 1991 - including one in the very same colour as your photo. Despite also owning a smattering of Rolls, Bentleys and Jags, there was nothing to match the M-B experience (of that era). I want one badly😍

Might not be the most desirable of Ferraris but you don’t see many Prancing Horses street parked in the town where I live. Manual too! Ageing like a fine wine in my opinion

I’m loving the green Jaguar in front of the green tiles of this former pub, just off Broadway Market this morning. The owner does seem to have tried squeezing through a gap that was too narrow in it, mind you, as every single panel down the offside, is crumpled.

Finally made it to the toilets here and I like the Cowshed soap and handcream. Obviously, I’m going to steal these to make up for buying a glass of wine.

You’ve gotta laugh haven’t you. I popped into this very upmarket hotel/wine bar in Soho because I needed a toilet. As I walked in, one of the very lovely waitresses greeted me and I was too embarrassed to say I’d only come in for the toilet so now I’m sitting here with all the beautiful people, having a glass of wine. I don’t know how much this wine is, but I’m guessing it’ll be the most expensive penny I’ve ever spent.
