I can’t overstate how happy this makes me. Star Wars is FINALLY embraced by general audiences. Everyone is talking about how good it was except… “intellectual Star Wars fans”.

I've read a lot of reviews of #TheMandalorianandGrogu and while I'm not here to disparage anyone's opinion, all I will say is this.
If you're a fan of everything that makes #StarWars great then you're going to love it. It's big, it's fantastical, it's action packed... It's all of that plus it has a heart.
And #Grogu is still the most adorable character.
Go see this movie bring your kids if you have them and just sit back and enjoy the two hours and 12 minutes at the movies. This is a typical summer blockbuster!

I'm increasingly inclined to the theory that it was Carrie Fischer's death, and not any fan backlash or even Snoke dying in TLJ, that really derailed Disney's plans for Episode 9.

It's laughable how "J.J. Abrams was hired to direct The Rise of Skywalker cause of The Last Jedi backlash!" has been treated as fact. When in reality Abrams was hired 2 month before TLJ locked picture locked, 4 months before TLJ came out, and after Rian was asked and said no.

Initial thoughts : Big budget TV episodes pretty below averagely written. How'd he keep getting his weapons back? Easily 2 of the most jarring cameos of all time and they're from the same person.
Harry loved it, we had a great time.

The people saying it’s worse than The Rise of Skywalker and the clone wars movie are lying. It makes me neither angry or annoyed. Apathetic, yes- and that may be a greater sin to some.

People have put Star Wars on too high of a pedestal and take it too seriously. It’s always been a series about fun space adventures, maybe stop worrying about if the next piece of Star Wars media is gonna be a huge masterpiece. It doesn’t have to be that to be fun and enjoyable.

Star Wars review scores are the perfect example of why you should be your own critic. Some of the most loved films get slammed, some of the most divisive get praised. At the end of the day, watch what you enjoy, not what Rotten Tomatoes scores tells you to enjoy,

Because different people had different experiences…
For example I had the experience of being bored out of my mind for most of the runtime.
The lower rating means some 40% of those contributing to the score had an experience closer to mine than yours
