@PawketSnack @Chase_Retriever Oh 100% agreed, I guess it's just expectations and whatnot 🤷‍♂️ like it's goofy for sure. In a pool or pool area it's understandable and expected that guys won't wear a shirt, but in con space they want everyone at least reasonably covered. I don't know lol

@RowanTheSaber @Chase_Retriever I get that I just think it a little weird for a con pretty centralized around the pool to not allow that. Especially considering you can walk around with no shirt in trunks or shirt in the hotel 😅

@PawketSnack @Chase_Retriever I always go off the rule "no nips, no holes, no poles" anytime I've been to a night market. Yeah it can be goofy, but I'd rather not worry about the con being upset

@Chase_Retriever I remember going to megaplex night market last year and staff stopped us at the rave and asked my boyfriend to cover his nipples with pasties 😅 like it's not like he was just at the pool two hours ago without a shirt... 🙄

Making the adult decision to voice that and deciding to break up is better than acting childish and internalizing the problems or acting out. Some people date and then realize they were better-

@_menkaure_ @NovaFluffyHusky -unless someone else has witnessed the event. Any form of assault or harassment isn't okay, and it can be very difficult to handle. It comes down to handling the situation in a way that is appropriate, to ensure victims are protected, and perpetrators are admonished/punished.

@_menkaure_ @NovaFluffyHusky 100% agreed, without any report nothing will happen. Nobody can address something they don't know is happening or has happened. While a victim should never handle the full burden of carrying the pain, in the end the victim is the only one who can start the process.

Ive experienced this 3-4 times a con for a long time. A topic that is inherently uncomfortable no one talks about. It's disgusting, I'm used to it to some degree. recently one of my best friends SA'd me. lost most of my friends since, and its been destroying me Please do better

@TSAdedara @NoContextHumans I think companies should just pay servers a living wage to start with so tipping is something that's optional and available for good service. Yes the cost of the meals will go up, but it removes the vast amount of pressure and uncertainty from each party involved.

@NoContextHumans Companies should add a minimum tip % to the regular bill and give customers the choice of increasing the tip or not. Companies can then separate the tip at the end of workers’ shift and everyone is happy.

When a company posts a job notice, and a applicant submits their application, the company has a responsibility to close that loop. Be it a yes, no, interview, etc.

Dear HR, Listen to me. 1. If I spend 2 hours searching for a job vacancy, 2. I apply after spending 15-30 minutes, 3. I wait patiently for 2-4 days to get a call, 4. After scheduling a call, I prepare for the interview for 3-6 days, 5. I give a 1-2 hour interview, 6. Then, can you at least take 10 minutes, the precious 10 minutes of your life, and tell me whether I was rejected or whether you put the hiring on hold, and if I was rejected, why? How difficult is this job? Please, stop ghosting candidates!
