@TerryNewsome18 @bigseb31213 The unfortunate part is that the US solidified that new terror cells will be born and Iran will build a nuke, most likely wipe the jews off the map and possibly cause a global recession

Comically short sighted first-order thinking. Hormuz isn’t just oil/LNG: it’s helium, fertiliser inputs, petrochem feedstocks, industrial gases. You don’t get ‘no fuel’, you get cascading industrial failure of which the US is the largest global node. And if the US stops underwriting sea lanes, you’re eroding the very system (petrodollar) that US power sits on.
Michael A. Arouet@MichaelAArouet

The US is energy independent. It can do whatever it wants Europe sacrificed its economy, relevance, and foremost geopolitical security at the altar of the green religion. It will get really nasty now. Don't blame Trump, you did it to yourself. Blame your left-green politicians.

@ChristophRayMan @ekwufinance My point isn't that, yes EU and Asia is fucked righr now but rather this whole "WE at the US aren't screwed" thing. You nor anyone here will benefit from the high prices, the prices won't go down because the US produces a globally traded commotity

Europe/Iran cant afford to have flows stop. Especially Europe; they only have their banking system keeping them afloat; where would cash generation come from; we would quickly see how much they believe in their virtue signaling with Russia. Anyone not named US and China (and Israel, lol) would be screwed in this scenario.

We are being prepared for a prolonged period of higher oil prices. Anyone who doesn’t have some oil exposure is taking serious risks. The risk here is not $120 oil, but $300+.

@KMGEsp @SpockResists The US didn't go anywhere, they followed up on their promise they signed in 1994, by sending mothball stock. They used 10% of their yearly budget to take out like 90% of RU military, without lifting a finger. Now they started a fight and are whining about getting kicked back

'Allies' when it suits them. It's an excuse for cowards hiding behind fake moral superiority. When the UK & EU called for help for Ukraine. The USA came. Now they turn their backs when the US calls. The UK, EU, etc have insulted, belittled, looked down on the USA for decades. But now USA hurt their feelings.

Trump didn't ask Nato to put boots on the ground. He asked nato countries and allies abroad if they could spare some boats and minesweepers to protect one of the most important trade routes from suicide attacks. A purely DEFENSIVE action. But they said no, so it's ok. We see where our "allies" stand. Once the U.S controls 60% of the world's crude oil through venezuela and Iran, All those "allies" can help us fund this "offensive" war by paying our fuel rates. 😁

@JeffFisch @austudynetwork @Mr_Andrew_Fox Actually, the all wholesale prices increases would 100% hit us and this would be way above this 10%. We also don't have any backup plan or any plan, at all. America can rob Venezuale of its oil. We're busy robbing our citizens of their wealth, so we can stick it to trump. Next.

The US told the EU, ‘Ukraine isn’t our war. Solve it yourself.’ Americans cheered. The EU is telling the US, ‘Iran isn’t our war.’ Americans are irate. This is how Trump has underminded a decades long alliance.
Shadow of Ezra@ShadowofEzra

The European Union has rejected President Trump’s call for allied naval support to secure the Strait of Hormuz. The European Union says, “This is not Europe’s war,” and is basically telling the United States, “You’re on your own.” “Nobody wants to go actively into this war.”

@TerriblyResolve @joshrogin The US forced itself onto the EU, they basically shut down EUs MICs, forced the EU to mainly buy defense from the US and complain when we wanted local production. On top of that the RiC bullied the EU for a year and didnt consult anybody when attacking Iran

@joshrogin You’re confused. Trump doesn’t want them to bail him out, he wants to expose them as useless allies. Europe has just given Trump all the reason he needs to let it stand on its own. And save the US hundreds of billions a year. Europe isn’t our “ally” - it’s a dependent.

“I don’t think the European countries are going to come and bail out of this mess. You have to think about the context here. Trump just spent a year hurting their economies on purpose, threatening to attack NATO, threatening to pull out of NATO. And then the Trump administration started this war without even bothering to consult them, didn’t take their interests into account until he needed them. And their populations are at historic levels of anti-Americanism because of how we’ve treated them over the last year.” “And they are democracies, so I don’t think their leaders are going to be able to overcome that. And why would they? It’s much easier, and you’ll see a bunch of countries doing this, to negotiate with the Iranians. The Iranians are setting up a system whereby they let the ships pass that they want to let pass. Just in the last 24 hours, they let several ships pass for countries that they’re not at war with. So if you were any country in the world, depending on this Strait, it’s much easier to make a deal with the Iranians than to send your ships down the Strait, to make them sitting ducks for Iranian drones and missiles, which seems crazy reckless.”
