In less than six months under the unelected reign of @Yunus_Centre, Bangladesh, has been descended into a chaos and now stands on the verge of becoming a failed state where no regard has been exhibited for #humanrights, #equality and #publicsafety. But to solidify and prolong the illegal rule, the blood thirsty and fascist regime led by @ChiefAdviserGoB with backing of #antiliberation and #extremist outfits, rolled out a nefarious scheme of vengeance to undo the founding ideals, a sheer betrayal over the supreme sacrifice of millions of martyrs at the hands of #Pakistan forces in 1971. #Yunusregime, the top sympathizer of militants, must go out of power. #Democracy in the country has been in shambles. Human rights are trampled systematically and mass media has been muzzled. The founding values and ideals of war heroes, the bravest and brightest minds of the soil, are dismantled. As the country stands at crossroads, we stand with the countrymen at the call of honourable party president Sheikh Hasina to end agonies of countrymen. --Against the ongoing politically motivated trial of party leaders and activists including Sheikh Hasina through a farcical ICT tribunal -In protest at the denial and immunity granted by Yunus regime against communal violence including killing, rape and targeted attack on religious and ethnic minorities, state patronization for religious discrimination, -Decrying the immunity granted for indiscriminate killing of scores of students and members of law enforcement, -Protesting skyrocketing price of essentials, lawlessness and reign of mugging, rape, robbery, demanding public safety -- Condemning ongoing killing and attacks on citizens for their political affiliation and weaponization of judiciary and law enforcement to decimate the oldest party of the country the led the struggle for independence --- Protesting the withdrawal of cases against Yunus over proven tax evasion and imposition of additional vats and taxes leading to hike in prices of essentials ---Criticizing indulgence in widescale corruption by Yunus regime -- Calling out share market scam, meticulous destruction of financial institutions like banks -- Lamenting systematic violence against liberal thinkers, writers, intellectuals, tolerant groups alongside targeted attacks on shrines and Sufism --Condemning enforced shut down of garment factories that turned tens of thousands of workers unemployed ---Demanding resignation of Yunus regime the architect of turning the country into a failed state We are announcing following chain of peaceful events across the country throughout February as part of our democratic rights --From February 1 to February 5 (distribution of leaflets) -- February 6: Protest rallies -- February 10 : Demonstrations -- February 16 : Blockade -- February 18: Countrywide strike from dawn to dusk We would also like to reiterate that any effort to impose force and inflict violence to block these series of non violent movement will trigger more peaceful protests in future. #BangladeshCrisis #SaveBangladesh
