I miss this kind of mindset. I love my country so much and I don’t want it to be managed by crooks. In Jesus name, Amen.

One of the most significant movements for animals in China in recent years, sparked by the tragic death of Wangwang, is now spreading around the world. Their message is clear: animal cruelty should not only be condemned, but it should also be punished under the law ✊

The latest statement from Ms. Xiao Liping, the mother of those demons, is as follows: Brothers and sisters far away, please stop wasting your energy. Don't rush in to comment on any of my videos where I forgot to lock the comments section (I don't care). It's unnecessary to exhaust yourself. Just live your own lives. Don't be so pathetic, only wanting to speak up for animals! How can you talk about protecting animals when you can't even be a decent human being? It's truly laughable. You should squat down and hug yourselves, and tell yourselves that you're not so tired anymore (because I don't care at all).

According to sources, the girl who adopted Laifu (the only surviving puppy of the mother dog Wangwang) was repeatedly summoned by local police, who demanded that she delete all videos and photos related to Laifu and Wangwang. The adopter's social media account has recently been blocked by the Chinese government, and all videos related to Wangwang have been deleted.

Wang Wang had a previous litter of puppies that were adopted. Two of her puppies lived in different homes. Wang Wang would go from home to home to visit her puppies and walk back alone at night to the drain she called home. #justiceforwangwang #2026jieyangdogabuse

@feilung_lau Why is China like this? They claimed to be a developed and civilized nation but a true civilized society is built on empathy, human rights, and mutual respect. It measures its progress not by wealth, but by how it treats all living beings with fairness and dignity.

Most people find it hard to read about the extreme cruelty Wang Wang suffered, yet she endured it for a whole hour with that tiny body of hers. She didn’t want to give up because she wanted to protect her puppies. This level of depravity is an erosion of our morality and a threat to humanity. It’s not any less relevant just because it happened in China. To the contrary, because people there can’t speak without risks, we must speak louder. In this battle between good versus evil, we need to be the voice for the voiceless. #justiceforwangwang

SEN. PIA CAYETANO KAY NBI DIR. MATIBAG: ‘DO YOUR JOB!’ I’ve confirmed the following so far: 1. Bilyonaryo News Channel, FTTM, political vlogger Filipino-Canadian Alfred Marc De Guzman, and my own Facebook page were all taken down by META generally around 12 hours ago 2. The reason for taking down or disabling our pages are ALL SIMILAR – reported by the SAME PERSON, SAME EMAIL ADDRESS, and SAME GROUNDS: - Bogus Trademark Infringement Claim of commercial mark by a certain Los Iracundos - By Sebastian Rafael Velazquez Beaulieu - With exactly the same email address 3. All of us are unsure what photo or mark did we upload or share that would violate the trademark of that pwrson or of Los Iracundos. Very very fishy! I am not one for conspiracy theories but this is too weird. There must be someone behind this. #FreedomOfSpeech

LOOK: The P3.9-million worth of “laptops” listed at the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) annual audit report in 2024 were actually donated photocopiers and a desktop computer, which the OVP said happened following an “oversight in description.” In a message to ABS-CBN News, the OVP said this was due to a lapse made by one of their staff. "The detailed transactions, journal vouchers were submitted to COA as well, but OVP staff made an error in the summary provided to COA," the OVP said. | via @manahan_job

Can you name govt officials who's wealth doesn't match their income?
Philippine Supreme Court Public Information Office@SCPh_PIO

The #SupremeCourtPH has ruled that wealth acquired by a public officer during their time in office that clearly exceeds their lawful income is presumed unlawfully acquired and may be forfeited, even if registered under the names of other individuals. In a Decision written by Associate Justice Japar B. Dimaampao, the SC’s Third Division upheld the forfeiture of properties, bank deposits, and investment accounts in the name of retired Lieutenant General Jacinto C. Ligot (General Ligot), as well as assets traced to him but registered under his wife, children, and relatives. The Ombudsman conducted a lifestyle investigation on General Ligot—who served in the Armed Forces of the Philippines from 1970 until his retirement in 2004, and was a commissioned comptroller during the relevant period—to determine whether the properties he acquired during active service exceeded his salary and other lawful income. Its probe into General Ligot’s declared assets in his Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth from 1982 to 2003, which did not reflect the actual properties under his name and those of his close family members, led to a petition for forfeiture filed against him before the Sandiganbayan. Also named in the petition were his wife, their children, and his sister and brother-in-law, who were allegedly used as fronts to conceal his assets. The Sandiganbayan ordered the forfeiture of the properties worth PHP 102 million as well as deposits and investment funds amounting to PHP 53 million after finding that the same were unlawfully acquired. The SC upheld the Sandiganbayan’s ruling, noting that General Ligot’s wife and children did not have independent income sources but still owned properties and held significant bank and investment accounts under their names. Regarding the condominiums, even though they were titled in his sister’s name, the amortizations were paid by General Ligot. The condominium listed under his brother-in-law’s name was initially bought by General Ligot’s wife, who lacked her own income. The SC held that these circumstances indicate that General Ligot was the true owner, even if the legal titles were in other people’s names. Under Republic Act No. 1379, properties of public officers are presumed to be illegally acquired when they are manifestly out of proportion to their lawful income. This presumption applies not only to properties under the public officer’s name but also to those hidden or transferred to others, as long as true ownership can be traced to the public officer. The SC emphasized that registration under another person’s name does not prevent forfeiture when true ownership can be traced to the public officer.
