@Tunde556151@FRANCO_FOREX@MohaXtra No insensitivity here. Every child needs manners, don't wait for the media to teach them one one. Ever heard of home training? If you ignore that and said child behaves against the social norm, the public puts pressure on them in the areas you ignored. It's just logical
🚨Lamine Yamal’s father:
“Please, I’m asking all of you—slow down with the pressure you’re putting on my son. He’s just a kid. He’s only 18 years old. People forget that so easily because of the level he plays at, but at the end of the day, he’s still growing, still learning, still developing.
Last night was painful for everyone, especially for the players. But don’t make him carry the weight of the entire team on his shoulders. He did what he could. He fought, he created, he tried to help Barcelona in every possible way. That’s all you can ask from a young player.
The real issue is something we keep seeing again and again—those red cards. Barcelona keep putting themselves in difficult situations, and it’s costing the team in big matches. You cannot expect magic when you’re always a man down. That’s not on one player, especially not on an 18-year-old boy.
Support him, protect him, let him grow. He has a beautiful future ahead, but he needs patience and love—not pressure and blame.”
@malteranks@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 I've listened to you, but you still don't get it. The algorithm looks at how you influenced the flow of the game, meanwhile it should look at how you influenced the outcome of the game.
@Royal_P007@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 I think stats are holy in the way you could objectively look at a player having an individual good game in a dysfunctional team.
The stats are just a tool to help us get an overview. You could factor in the teams success yourself and see that a player has been a part of it.
@malteranks@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 If sofascore gave him that stat, then I shouldn't trust Messi's either. Besides, he scored the penalty. If you think a side of football is easier than the other, you probably don't know much about the sport.
@Royal_P007@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 An example of a mediocre striker is Zian Flemming in Burnley. He can have an invisible game and contribute very little to the team, and then scores a penalty. He can that grade boost from it, but it shouldn’t overshadow the mediocre performance and put him up at 7.5+
@malteranks@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 What if I programmed it to judge based on those stats and eventual result? If one's handwriting is a 9/10 but fails an exam and the other is a 8/10 and passes, I don't think those grades will be the same.
(3/3)
@Royal_P007@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 But these stats are insane. This contribution is surely enough to get a grade. The stats sites aren’t weighted to certain players in any way. The discussion is what you think is most important in a football player.
@malteranks@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 Look, if I programmed an algorithm to grade the student with the best handwriting in a class as the overall best academic performance, the handwriting will indeed stand out but that's not a fair metric given how incredibly dynamic the room is...
(2/3)
@malteranks@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 Chill. These stats are good, but they're "Messi's stat" I think I get your point, but I don't think you get mine.
I'll explain...
@malteranks@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 "A mediocre striker"? Don't force things. If those were the stats to be considered, Ronaldo wouldn't have 7.3. and Messi shouldn't have 9.0
@Royal_P007@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 Goals are already a big part of the grade. If you score you have great opportunity to get a good grade. A mediocre striker who scores a penalty in a game could absolutely get worse grades than a midfielder controlling the game and winning balls.
@malteranks@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 Think of it this way, the goal of the game is to score goals and win the match. Yes, you may do certain things to get there, but the goal doesn't change. But now, if I program an algorithm to notice certain stats apart from goals, that's not only biased, that's illogical.
@Royal_P007@baggy462@FabrizioRonald0 Do you think the grade system should impact when the goal was scored. It is simple stats and algorithms counted together.
