I wanna reiterate what I've been saying with the Ironmouse x NTE issue.
She has no evidence that NTE lied to her but Hotta devs and the president said before hand that were was generative ai in only the Non core parts of the game.
Ironmouse is basically lying that she didn't know when 5 minutes prior to signing, she could have googled if Hotta Studio used ai in NTE and it would say a very minor amount of the game even has it for side quest cutscenes and some props.
Not only does iron mouse lie about her AI stance, she personally played games with ai in the past like expedition 33 and even did a song cover for it. There's even a history of games with ai she played and now it's an issue because of her rabid fan base said AI bad when it came to NTE?
Woman, please.
Mouse you are not innocent and the burden is on you to do your own 5 MINUTES OF RESEARCH to look up something so simple. You're not getting a way out and you're going to be held accountable for your nonsensical stance on being Anti Ai you and your fans who tote it. You couldn't take the 5 minutes to look before taking the money and running when so many others deserved that sponsorship way more than you and wouldn't throw Hotta under the bus. I think when push comes to shove, people WILL care more about AI issues that directly affect their own lives over everything else..

So of course she’s going to care about art and generative AI affecting creatives.

I think a lot of people are getting this whole thing wrong. She dropped the sponsorship because they lied to her about using gen Al during the initial talks.
Whether you like Ironmouse or not it's really not hard to understand this was about them denying any Al usage. Not her trying to "cancel a Chinese gacha game" over Al.

NTE Drama
I’m writing this post because of the massive number of DMs from players asking for refunds over claims that the game was made with AI. We need to clarify a few points, as the situation is escalating quite a bit.
The game wasn’t made with a simple ChatGPT prompt like “make me a game, please.” It was created by programmers, musicians, voice actors, artists, writers, and many other staff members who have been working on it for years.
If it were truly a soulless project in such a competitive industry, it simply wouldn’t stand out the way it has.
We can’t deny that AI may have been used for certain types of assets that do not represent the final product, but that still doesn’t fully address the underlying issue.
As for an official statement from Hotta Studio, we have already reached out and are currently waiting for a response. This may take some time, as it is currently Golden Week in China, which includes several non-working holidays.
Regarding the sponsorship situation and the denial of AI use, it’s important to clarify that each department operates independently. This falls under the marketing department’s responsibility in terms of communication with influencers, and the situation was not handled with complete transparency.
We are currently awaiting an official statement from the staff regarding the controversy that has emerged.
The situation is delicate. While the issue originated in Asia and was actually received fairly positively there, it has now escalated to the point where forums in China and Japan are discussing the controversy being stirred up by the West over what many consider to be a minor issue.
Many influencers are protesting and have stopped creating content, which worries players who are genuinely enjoying the game, as they fear this situation could negatively affect its future.

Generative AI today is used universally in the development of software, and has already led to the loss of many software development jobs, especially for junior-entry level jobs. AI is already in every game, software, website, and yes, even on the backend of Twitch.
Oh, but it's a different technology.
No. Generative AI, whether it's LLMs with Claude code, or AI art-videos uses the same kind of transformer algorithm. AI is already in tons of games, especially in code, and they don't disclose that just because it's not "art assets". Requiring disclosure only for creative tasks, not for programming, is a double standard.
You people don't care about other people's livelihood. You only care about the optics of playing a game on stream or taking sponsors NOW that the drama has unfolded into mainstream discourse.
But they don't care that AI is used in Nikke art assets.
Or that AI was used in E33.
Or that AI is used in the software for all the modern games.
AI is transforming how work gets done across EVERY creative and tech industry, just like previous tech waves did. Crashing out about the differences between “creative” and “technical” is stupid when both are replacing/augmenting human labor in exactly parallel ways.
TLDR... pretending AI in programming is somehow “different” and harmless while AI in art is an existential threat is pure unadulterated hypocrisy.
