Overnight, diesel up another 8c per litre. Home heating oil up another €100 for a fill. And what is Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael’s response? To tell people to wait until next Tuesday for them to hold another meeting! Another 6 days! More delay. They could cut fuel prices today if they wanted. They could implement what is in Sinn Féin’s legislation. This would ease the pressure on people right now. But they choose not to act. We will keep the pressure up until this do-nothing government does its job!

Government is very conscious of the impact volatile energy prices are having. It is a very serious situation. Our immediate priority is to try and alleviate pressures on people, on families, and doing so in a way that protects the economy and avoids adding to inflation.

The same Helen McEntee that said on record that opting in to the EU Migration Pact did NOT cede Sovereignty to the EU and that since the Lisbon Treaty "We said very clearly that we pool our resources when it comes to issues on security and migration". The removal of the triple lock is a devious backdoor move to avoid holding a Referendum on the EU Common Defence Policy. The State fear a Referendum on Ireland's neutrality as they know the answer will be a resounding NO. At Art. 29.4.7 of the Irish Constitution: 'The State shall not adopt a decision taken by the European Council to establish a common defence pursuant to Article 42 of the Treaty on European Union where that common defence would include the State’ Ireland is being dragged in, under the radar, to participate in the EU war machine. The plan to scrap 'triple lock' to send Irish military in operations abroad is part of this agenda. The circumstances in which Irish military personnel may be deployed for service outside the State as part of an International Force are set down in the Defence (Amendment) (No. 2) Act of 1960. The legislation provides what is termed as a ‘‘triple lock’’ as it requires three forms of authorisation: the operation is mandated by the UN, such deployment is approved by the Government, and, if the proposed deployment is more than 12 personnel, it is approved by Dáil Resolution. It is up to the Irish people to push back against this sinister move by the establishment to dismantle the triple lock as part of their agenda to send our young men and women to die on foreign souls at the behest of the war mongering globalists. #NotInOurName
