@Boi_die @Starthedeity Not really, but I spent a lot of time growing up in a Bible Belt on the east coast of the U.S. In a place like that, almost every character that is both heroic and sacrificial is eventually interpreted as a “Jesus figure,” regardless of any actual textual evidence.

If viewers can interpret a Christian allegory from, well, anything, that’s as it should be so long as they support their interpretation with evidence. Those views are separate from the author’s intent, however.

A pastry for breakfast is actually totally fine, especially if you’re someone who works out afterward. Carbs pre-workout are more beneficial than protein. I don’t eat at all before I train, but on heavy days I have a carb drink that is basically the equivalent of eating that pastry, except I can sip it during my workout and it gives me steady fuel.
Protein is not the only macronutrient that matters; carbs are just as crucial.

Sorry to be a food shamer but something that is actually really insane to me as someone who doesn’t even diet are the people who believe a pastry is breakfast. You fr just had a scone or a cinnamon roll or a coffee cake to start your day. Zero protein whatsoever. Nothing. Just a pastry.
