The motion to recuse the Judge James H. Roberts Jr. in the eligibility case of Alabama' Charles Bediako has been granted, per court documents. A new judge will be assigned to the case. Roberts is an Alabama athletics donor. The NCAA filed the motion to recuse him.

Their motion also talked about how ridiculous it was to quote Reddit users opinions in a recusal motion. This was expected. The judge is a good judge and knew it wasn’t worth the public scrutiny.
