A government that cannot compel an adequate standing force by its virtues and utility to the people does not deserve a force at all.

@skeleoncemore @SUPERBLOWFLY that's more explainable as sci-fi tech mumbo jumbo. what's less explainable is minerva (can't remember if that's her name) talks directly to desmond from the past through ezio.

@wesleytypes makes sense. i ended up buying it on pc later and it ran a lot better out of the gate. I loved the 360 but weird quirks like that with some xbox games and not others were so aggravating. You never knew what you were getting trying to go back and play older games.

@RsngShock It was definitely a problem with 360 emulation. I actually let a friend borrow my Xbox copy to play on his 360 back in those days and he gave it right back because it ran like crap. Lol

i once tried Kotor's xbox port via backwards compatibility on the 360 iirc. the thing ran like absolute ass. hopefully that was just a problem with the 360 emulation. because i can't see people enjoying it on the xbox if it was like that too.

No doubt the PlayStation 2 was a legendary console, but I could never have chosen it over the original Xbox. Xbox had Halo, KOTOR, Fable, and Morrowind. All console exclusives. The PS2 had some killer exclusives too, but these 4 titles end all discussion for me personally.

@hoshizorarock is it cheese violence if I eat cheese by itself? I'll sometimes cut a nice big piece from a block and eat that as a snack.

while not illegal, they are put on the bottom of the waitlist or are outright refused for being a known risk factor. They want organs to go to people who will try their best to take care of them and make them last.

giving money and supplies hasn't helped. what shall we do? send more money and supplies of course! yes because if something doesnt work, its simply because you arent doing the thing hard enough.

🇸🇩 In Sudan, more than 60% of the population is suffering from acute food shortages, with millions forced to eat leaves or animal feed to survive. According to the 2026 Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan, 61.7% of the population, around 28.9 million people, are acutely food-insecure. Tens of millions in Sudan are living on just one meal a day as the crisis deepens. The war between the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, now entering its third year, has displaced millions and fueled one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises. Reports based on interviews with farmers, traders, and humanitarian workers describe how the war is pushing communities toward famine, driven by the collapse of agriculture and the use of starvation as a weapon, including the deliberate destruction of farms and markets. Aid systems are under severe strain. Communal kitchens are struggling to meet growing demand, while funding cuts are limiting the ability of humanitarian organizations to respond. Women and girls are among the most affected, facing heightened risks of violence and rapes when going to fields, markets, or even collecting water. After years of intense Gaza reporting, the international mainstream media is turning a blind eye to the suffering in Sudan. Why?
