OVER 1,500 PENS AND RULERS DONATED TO NKORANZA SOUTH BECE CANDIDATES
Today, 4th May 2026, as a proud son of Nkoranza-Dotobaa, I returned to the very constituency where my journey began, driven by a deep commitment to securing a brighter future for my fellow natives. It was a truly emotional and fulfilling experience to go back to the roots that shaped me and to stand before the next generation as living proof that determination, discipline, and hard work can transform dreams into reality.
Having completed my basic education at Integrity International School, progressing to Osei Tutu Boys’ Senior High School, and later earning a Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious University of Ghana, I felt compelled to share my story with these young students as they embarked on their first major external examination, the BECE. I used my life journey as a source of motivation to inspire them, reminding them that their current circumstances do not define their future. With focus, resilience, and faith in their abilities, they too can rise to great heights.
Together with some of my old JHS classmates, the Assembly Member for the Aduaka Electoral Area, Mr. Samuel Adutwum, and friends from the University of Ghana who proudly hail from our noble constituency, we visited various examination centres to encourage and support our junior brothers and sisters as they write this important examination.
As part of this outreach, I distributed over 1,500 pens and rulers to students to aid them in their academic pursuit. In addition, I made a special presentation of mathematical sets to the students of Dotobaa M/A JHS, a gesture particularly meaningful to me, as it is the same school where my mother completed her BECE over three decades ago.
This kind gesture was born out of my belief that true leadership is about giving back and creating opportunities for others to succeed. It is also rooted in my conviction that education remains one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives and communities. By extending this support, I hoped not only to meet a practical need but also to ignite confidence and hope in the hearts of these young learners.
I want to thank the Examination Officer responsible for the Nkoranza South Municipality, all students and friends from University of Ghana and students across the country who contributed to support this initiative. We gave hope to the younger generation and we hope they make good use of this kindness.
To every candidate writing the BECE, remember this: success begins with self-belief. Your dreams are valid, your potential is limitless, and your future is brighter than you can imagine. Stay focused, give your best, and trust that today’s effort will become tomorrow’s testimony. The journey to greatness starts with a single step, and this examination is one of those important steps toward your destiny.
