Even with end of day multitasking, I could not miss the @RidersAlliance Gala! Members and supporters of RA gathered virtually to honor and celebrate the work of the organization, its founder and the transit workers who have continued to work tirelessly the last couple of months.

@PascaleSablan Beyond the Built Environment - On getting the "podium" - Don’t have to justify getting the mic, but try to encourage and empower others - On "tough" convos - Its not about comfortability  but progress! – it comes with scars & bruises – do not be apologetic 8/8

@DaneiCesario @WallenDaub - On being impactful - not from going to 1 event but being consistent & committed – always asking for help and finding your champions - On building confidence - learn to champion and advocate for yourself by setting + meeting goals 7/8

Last thursday I listened to Voices of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion: Championing Change hosted by @WIA_LI and @WIANYC highlighting some extraordinary peers and women in the AEC industry who are also rocking it w/ impactful organizational work outside of their "9-5" #TBT 1/8

because I know my tendencies of focusing on key phrases that align with my interests, morals, ideologies etc. All this to say that I just finished going over last week's notes and I got a beautiful #TBT 2/2

Some days are becoming tougher to cope with. I find that one way to reintroduce positive vibes and good energy on a daily basis is by going over notes from webinars, meetings, conferences or calls, ....1/2
