@lljb3 @crossknockout Blaz will probably will secure top 7 if he gets 2nd as he’ll have 500 points . Nephew and Sahara can get up to top 7 as well but on the lower end as they have 100/90 respectively

@lljb3 @crossknockout For the most part, the player who gets 2nd and 3rd will put themselves into leaderboard contention while the rest aren’t really going very far up

@gllty The goal clearly is not to open influence on to the Saudi people (as I show) but the influence to change the mind of westerners to what Saudi represents and make them seem a lot more open minded like you believe.

@gllty For example, the EWC has a documentary where the head of team liquid talked him being gay but the version shown in Saudi has it completely cut out

saudi arabia opening itself up to outside influence is irrevocably going to change saudi arabia. i don't so much see fault with that. it's the homegrown hysterical tribalism that seems rooted in a desire to behave with cruelty under a false performative morality i side-eye.

For FGC specifically, the biggest singles online tournament was the EVO 2021 NA tournament for Strive during the pandemic. Japan CPT WW #1 registration just closed at 2357 registered players, which should now be the biggest of all time for FGC online 1v1 tournaments

@crossknockout I wonder where this ranks in open online brackets for any game. What other games gets open online qualifiers with over 2k players in the same region.

@broskiFGC The change that actually made Zangief go down a bit in season 3 was not getting hard knockdowns on normal and counter hit sweeps which now lets you back tech. Go back and watch any season 2 gameplay and you'll see that alot of momentum was created just from this.

After speaking to mutuals that were picked up by these random teams, it is IMPORTANT for future players to be diligent in the background checks of these teams. Some of the teams that come out of nowhere guarantee great $$$/incentives, but NONE OF THAT MATTERS IF THEY DONT PAY.

@crossknockout All it takes is Problem X having a bad day and Lexx could be qualified the beginning of next month which is very early

3rd time Lexx wins CPT WW UK-Ireland, he's got top 3 in 8 out of 12 WW tournaments entered since SF6 release. It's gonna be difficult for others to catch up with this kind of consistency

Imagine if the Olympics happened twice a year — would it still feel as special? People already miss the Olympics due to visa and cost issues, but we don’t solve that by hosting more of them. Prestige comes from rarity. Quality > quantity.
incross@crossknockout

@PerfectLegend @ArslanAsh95 You can't "call cap" on reality. EVO Vegas champions are regarded as World Champions that's as prestigious as it gets, but it doesn't change the fact that not everyone has the opportunity to compete here. 90% of EVO Vegas attendees are from the US.

EVO used to feel like one legendary event where the whole world came to compete. Now with 3 EVOs (and 4 next year), it’s slowly losing that prestige. I miss the days when there was only one EVO, one champion, one moment that defined the year.

@PerfectLegend @ArslanAsh95 This “non doer” has been a bigger boon and help for the community than I or others have ever seen you be. Seeing you try to dog on Incross like this when he’s trying to make valid points and there’s competitors (doers) who would agree with his points is laughable. Do better.
