I'm hyped for a new Avatar series but oh my god why are Paramount dropping all 26(!) episodes - consisting of 2 books/seasons - at once?! A new series of a well-loved & critically acclaimed IP, that currently has a major live-action adaptation on Netflix, and they just dump it.

These people are unbelievably stupid and unserious. Broadcast licenses are regional by design. None of the Japanese TV stations & streaming services want the Japanese audience accessing all of their exclusive shows on a US platform. This is obvious if you think for two seconds.
