@Kairito10 Look, Kirkman hasn’t had the best run so far, but no one since 86 is stupid enough to bench Optimus indefinitely. This is set up for something that will at least be new and interesting, if not entirely well executed, but I don’t think it’ll be downright dogshit.

@Starshinefallng @TFTranssexual The fact that Shockwave has successfully led the Decepticons on Cybertron with seemingly little to no infighting kinda derails this. I think the take-away is that Megatron hurts the cause more than he helps it. Also, Starscream was a part of all that, so it’s an unfair comparison

@TFHypeGuy DWJ Elita-1 was GREAT an extremely well written character. Kirkman Elita-1 isn’t bad, but the pacing is abysmal. Definitely need a few more issues to feel right.

@KaijuCooper I don’t see any character leaving as a betrayal, they’ve proven they love Optimus, but I can’t blame a single one of them for wanting to retake Cybertron. If any single choice does bug me, it’s Jazz. But not for characterization reasons. He just fits on Earth lol!

@KaijuCooper Honestly Ultra Magnus leaving makes sense. For starters, there’s the fact that he’s an Optimus-alike, it’s just a good idea to get him outta there. I feel like Arcee staying influenced his decision as well, he’s too pragmatic to leave Cybertron without a Magnus!
