The resistance front is not about geography; it is about belief, honor, and the refusal to bow to arrogance. — Imam Khomeini (RA)

💥⚛️Global nuclear domino: How US-Iran war sets off atomic cascade The nuclear arms control system built during the Cold War may soon face huge challenges, as more and more nations mull getting the bomb amid US hawkish behavior, Bloomberg writes. Brutal American interventions around the world - like in Iran and Venezuela - prompt other nations to see nuclear weapons as the only means to deter aggressors and ensure security. China, for example, with around 600 warheads, plans to reach 1,000 by 2030, the Pentagon estimates. US allies around the globe are eyeing atomic weaponry too - as the US military campaign in Iran has shown its failure to secure the Gulf States. The list of nuclear-seekers includes: 🇰🇷 South Korea - has a nuclear submarine program, with its population supporting going nuclear 🇯🇵 Japan - shifting stance on nuclear arms, with officials advocating for the bomb 🇩🇪 Germany - via nuclear cooperation with France 🇵🇱 Poland - both through seeking its own bomb and cooperating with France 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia - via possible nuclear tech sharing with the US This may push the world towards what's called a proliferation cascade, senior fellow at the Pacific Forum, William Alberque, tells Bloomberg. 💬 "If South Korea goes, Japan goes. Then Taiwan goes. Then China is in a panic… The possibility of a cascade in the Middle East and East Asia makes those two regions far more dangerous," he explains. But double standards rule the game, as while some are allowed to go nuclear, others get literally attacked for mere allegations of atomic activities.
