Este gráfico é brutal pela sua simplicidade. É uma curva empírica da procura e da oferta de habitação, construída com base em dados dos EUA. O que é se observa nesta disposição? O quadrante em que há mais casas e preço mais elevado está quase vazio. Ou seja, lido de outra forma: se há mais casas construídas, não há preços mais elevados; onde há menos casas construídas, há preços mais elevados. Em suma, a crise da habitação só se resolve de forma estrutural de uma forma: construindo, construindo, construindo. Tudo o resto é luta política.

@abelcosta98 Se achas q grandes superfícies pagam salários mais baixos e cobram preços mais altos q mercearias e mercados, mostra as fontes. Sem elas, é só opinião - e toldada por cegueira ideológica. A realidade diz o contrário: supermercados (geralmente) pagam melhor e vendem mais barato.

Para além da greve ao trabalho, deveríamos fazer greve ao consumo. No dia 3 de junho, devemos evitar fazer compras nas grandes superfícies, que exploram diariamente os trabalhadores com baixos salários e preços elevados.

@emeesse96 Teríamos de considerar solo, vegetação, evaporação, etc. mas na forma simplista q o twitter exige, o efeito de ilha calor existe se houver desflorestação, não devido aos parques solares per se. Se abateres um bosque e lá meteres edifícios/estradas tb se cria uma ilha de calor.

O dr Pedro Marques Lopes, cujo grande feito na vida é comentar o que os outros fazem — até porque o próprio nunca fez nada digno de comentário —, não sabe que é jurídica e politicamente diferente ter os direitos de propriedade na secção dos Direitos, Liberdades e Garantias da Constituição. Já agora, quase 30 países da OCDE têm os direitos de propriedade na secção de DLGs — ao contrário de Portugal, que os relega para o artigo 62º, na secção de direitos económicos e sociais.

Portugal 🇵🇹 has one of the most fascinating (& unfortunately underappreciated) national histories & identities of all the European countries Specifically, & among other things: • It's culturally unique, in that it's Romance/Latin but Atlantic rather than Mediterranean at the same time • It had the literal first & last of the great colonial empires, an empire which was built out of the heroic seafaring spirit of its people in spite of their small number (whose exploits of exploration & conquest were fascinatingly recounted in their Homeric-style national epic, "The Lusiads") • It has a really interesting 20th-century history as well (despite having been largely excluded from major European events due to its peripheral location), with a heterodox authoritarian regime ruling it for decades in the midst of a liberal-democratic West & with the peculiar ideological-geopolitical doctrine of Lusotropicalism uniquely shaping its national self-conception "Esta é a ditosa pátria minha amada"
