Mason Miller to NYY Padres acquire: Spencer Jones + Ben Hess + Elmer Rodriguez + Will Warren A definite value overpay on a reliever that slots David Bednar into high leverage bridge to the best closer in the game Overpay is again necessary to avoid San Diego making the smart play and holding Miller until the winter with 3 years of control 3. Jung Ho Lee to NYY Giants acquire: Kaeden Kent + Brenden Beck Prefer a right-handed contract-first addition to the offense (Lee hitting .302 in 2026) but his fit would work wonders for a team failing to hit w/ RISP or getting on base without walking Call up George Lombard Jr August 17th (travel day) to make his debut in Baltimore the following day protecting ROY rewards on him Additions of THREE bats post deadline plus Mason Miller and the eventual Judge/Stanton return they’ll believe is enough to win a championship That means the majority of the bats in the lineup today won’t be there come October — it’s an overhaul and i’d support it Thanks for reading! 🙌🏽

So long, America🫡🇺🇸 49 days ago we landed in the USA to follow our country at the World Cup. We had no idea it would turn into the trip of a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who followed along, and to all the people we met who made this journey even more special. We honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us. This trip exceeded every expectation we had. We came here with an open mind, wanting to experience as much of the country as possible. I still remember telling my friends on the flight to Atlanta that I hoped we’d get to meet a few locals on this trip. Now we’re flying home with friends all across the USA. Before we came, we heard so many stereotypes and warnings about America. People told us about safety concerns, that they might check our social media at the border, and all kinds of other things. None of it matched our experience. This was probably the most welcoming country we’ve ever visited. So if you have the chance to travel, do it. The world isn’t nearly as bad as the media often makes it seem. 99% of people are awesome! I heard this quote somewhere during the World Cup, and I think it sums up our experience perfectly: “If you want to hate the world, watch the news. If you want to love it, travel it.” Thank you, America ❤️🇺🇸

@Rukadocious1 @Thats_BB_Suzyn Well - that's the wrong approach and usually why most fail in NY from the beginning. Considering how bad the bottom of the lineup is hitting - just his defensive alone is an upgrade. I'll take what he does at the plate as a bonus, because I know he will eventually succeed.

Yankees have a real dilemma with Lombard. If he keeps progressing at AAA how do you not call him up? But once you do, he can’t play minor league baseball if there’s a lockout in 2027. Losing him for a full year could really set back his development.
