MY unpopular opinion: you do not have to spend every single holiday with your family, especially if you are married. You can create your own traditions with the person you married.

Only downside to seemingly having it all together is that literally no one thinks you need anything, ever. And tbh, I guess I don’t lol.

Just remember that this human experience is temporary. You arrive with nothing, you spend your whole life chasing everything, but still leave with nothing. So make sure that your soul gains more than your hands.

Do NOT teach my child to keep secrets from me. Ever. If I find out you told my child “don’t tell your mom,” that access is revoked. I don’t care if it’s candy, soda, or something small, that’s how dangerous boundaries start getting blurred. Not happening.
