men will gloat about how “uncomplicated” and surface level their friendships with other men are — “we don’t talk about feelings”, “we don’t know each others middle names”, “women are so dramatic in their friendships and care about such stupid things” — and then get online and cry when they have no community and no one who cares about them.
women have community because they foster it. they invest in genuine connections. they develop emotional intelligence. they showcase empathy. they don’t allow selfishness to rule their lives. men should try it instead of playing victim in self-inflicted circumstances (per usual).
