The expert conference 🌊@3S1OConference🌊 #SideEvent @3seaseu was a significant dialogue platform for Experts from various corners of the world! 🌍 In light of many valuable insights and the exchange of key ideas, we are pleased to present the Lucky 7 which are essential recommendations for the development and strengthening of the #3SI's position🥇 👇 EXPERT RECOMMENDATIONS 👇 1️⃣ Perception of the Three Seas Initiative as a soft power tool: The Three Seas Initiative should be recognized as a significant tool of regional soft power. 2️⃣ Systemic inclusion of external partners: External partners, especially non governmental organizations (NGOs) and think tanks, should be systematically involved in conducting analyses and organizing events that strengthen the 3SI message. 3️⃣ Improving the coordination of priority projects: The coordination of priority projects should be improved by strengthening mechanisms for ongoing monitoring of progress in their implementation, identification of barriers, and regular evaluation. 4️⃣ Improving the quality of communication about the 3SI Investment Fund (3SIIF): The quality of communication regarding the full spectrum of activities of the 3SIIF should be improved. The goal is to build understanding and trust in its dual, commercial-strategic nature within the Three Seas Initiative, which in turn will increase the number of contributors to the Fund. 5️⃣ The European Union as a tool for strengthening the 3SI coordination: 3SI activities should be coordinated at the EU level, which will streamline the building of a common position key sectors for the Initiative. Within the framework of EU membership, platforms for the development of 3SI can include, among others, the Multiannual Financial Framework and strategic partnership with the European Commission. 6️⃣ Appointment of Government Plenipotentiaries for 3SI in each participating country: A Government Representative for the Three Seas Initiative should be appointed in each participating country. This person should be empowered at least at the level of titular ambassador or undersecretary of state (deputy minister) to facilitate strategic communication at the international level. 7️⃣ Building a coherent message about 3SI in Polish institutions: Efforts should be made to build a coherent message about the Three Seas Initiative within Polish institutions, perceiving it as a tool for promoting Poland's national interests. 🧐Do You have any reflections or further recommendations?
