A few weeks ago we published the first hand account of a German journalist raped in Israeli custody. She co-wrote the piece with an American journalist, who was also abused repeatedly. So Israeli prison guards will do that to Germans and Americans, but not to Palestinians?

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. Al Jazeera exposes an Israeli company called "Generative Al for Good" that is creating entirely fake videos of Iranian women as victims of state oppression.
Trump shared Al-generated photos of Iranian women, claiming they were about to be executed until he saved them. But in reality those women were never exist
When you can't find real victims to justify your war, just invent them. And when you can't invent enough, use Al to scale the lie

Following the completion of an initial examination regarding a photograph published earlier today of an IDF soldier harming a Christian symbol, it was determined that the photograph depicts an IDF soldier operating in southern Lebanon. The IDF views the incident with great severity and emphasizes that the soldier’s conduct is wholly inconsistent with the values expected of its troops. The incident is being investigated by the Northern Command and is currently being addressed through the chain of command. Appropriate measures will be taken against those involved in accordance with the findings. Furthermore, the IDF is working to assist the community in restoring the statue to its place. The IDF is operating to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure established by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, and has no intention of harming civilian infrastructure, including religious buildings or religious symbols.

There is a Quranic verse hanging behind his head in a frame that looks very old. The verse says: 'And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge.' It is clear that this Israeli is living in a house stolen by his father from a Palestinian family after they were either killed or displaced.
As if that wasn't enough, he is now headed to Gaza to target and kill children.
