He was deeply involved from the complaint, the arrest, the officers’ movements and the briefings that followed, yet the moment Albert died, Kenyans were suddenly asked to treat him like a complete stranger to the operation. That story does not add up. You cannot remain at the centre of a case until death occurs, then quietly disappear from the chain of responsibility while junior officers carry the burden. Arrest him, question him and let the full communication trail come out in court. #ArrestEliudLagat

Muchiri Nyaga was one who initially told the public that Albert Ojwang had died by suicide after hitting his head against a wall. Muchiri is the police spokesperson, but we are not confident in his work. He should be replaced.
