Throw Back Thursday - 1993 Van Bulldogs wins their third consecutive Baseball Championship with a 9-3 win over CK. The team was led by Coach Steve Bradley and the late James Sexton. The Bulldogs finished the season 27-5.

The key to improvement is consistency. Much more than any fancy training schedule featuring interval training, tempo runs or hill repeats. Just run day after day, week after week, year after year at a level where you do not become injured. #RunSafe

Training becomes difficult for during winter. Trails through the woods become covered with snow. Ice and snow make running the roads tricky. Cold weather forces us to bundle up. Add to that, the narrow window of daylight The mere difficulty of running in winter makes us tougher.

Head to the hills if you want to be a better runner. The biggest reason for doing some form of hill training is to develop quad strength
