@burr9wfan He’s not a better scorer than MJ. Not arguing that. I never even got into the MJ debate. You keep bringing him up. But he’s a much better scorer than Kobe. You can argue that Kobe took more mid range jumpers. And I’d argue that’s the worst shot in basketball.

@RunDFF He’s not a better scorer than MJ or Kobe is the point I’m making. FG efficiency doesn’t make you a better scorer ding dong. My point is mid range scorers will have a lower FG% than those who mostly attack paint, that doesn’t make them worse scorers or inneficient

So when LBJ (takes far more inside 0-5 ft shots than MJ) shoots exactly 0.6% better FG, it’s “LBJ is just more efficient”, but when 34 yr old Kobe on his last leg averages 0.5 more PPG than peak prime LeBron it’s “only 0.5 PPG more” and you use other context 🤡🤡🤡
JR_FF@RunDFF

@burr9wfan @cajunboijay Yup, he scored more points per game. Shooting 46% vs Bron’s 56%. 0.5 ppg more to be exact. All he had to do was shoot nearly 3 more shots a game to do it.

@burr9wfan Let’s talk about TS% in 2013 since you want to talk about that szn. Kobe’s was .570. Lebron was .640. That was Kobe’s 3rd most efficient TS season. Lebron has had 5 seasons with lower efficiency than that. So one of Kobe’s most efficient seasons would be one of LeBron’s worst.

@RunDFF Wow you’re so stupid omg I literally told you why he shoots over 50% and you just regurgitated the same thing. Also I know being a Bron fan you don’t understand that FG% doesn’t measure efficiency you clown. TS% measures efficiency, so no Kobe wasn’t inneficient

@burr9wfan And somehow he shoots over 50% from the field. It’s almost like he knows his midrange game isn’t elite so he goes to the paint or behind the arc. Crazy how that works.

@burr9wfan I didn’t even bring up MJ. I said Kobe. And 56% vs 46% is a massive gap.

@RunDFF Funny how 0.6% FG% difference makes LeBron a far better efficient player than MJ to you tools

@cajunboijay Kobe actually averaged more PPG than LeBron during that 2013 regular season when Kobe was like 35 years old and Bron was 28

@Pete_Martuneac @Honcho_WhoDey I like efficiency more than just total counting stats. Things like Assist:Turnover ratio and points per shot+turnover.

@Honcho_WhoDey They also do it with his records. “He’s the GOAT because he has the most points and playoff wins of all time!” “But he also has the most turnovers and playoff losses of all time, too.” “Who cares? He’s played forever, of course he’s going to have more turnovers and losses.”

One of the reasons I don’t like Lebron is because yall play both sides when it comes to him. All the credit when he wins, all the excuses when he loses. Nothing is ever his fault.

@Juice4204 @MythNix Besides 2011 because Lebron was awful in that series, when was he the favorite and a big part of why his team lost those finals? 2007 was the only other time he was not good in the finals but that’s because the Spurs ONLY had to worry about him on offense and they smothered him.

A reminder today, since everyone is responding to Lebron’s 4-6 commentary. The record of NBA greats in series they were underdogs in a Finals is 4-23. Only Lebron has 2 wins. No great was ever in his position, favored only 3 of 10 times. Lebron played the hardest competition.

@Joissbert I’m glad you brought up Kobe. He averaged more shots over his career because Kobe didn’t even start his first couple years in the league. From 1998-99 thru the end of his career, Kobe averaged 20.8 shots per game. Lebron has averaged 19.4.

@stoltdogg @JoelBleedsGreen Who is “we”? I’ve cut people out of my life for cheating and I’ll do it again. If they’ll betray the ones closest to them then no one is safe. I’m not alone in this either.

@JoelBleedsGreen I wonder what he said to his team. If he said the right shit, the team will understand and let it go. He just needed to be 100% honest with them. It’s a room full of dudes, we understand. But if he gave the team even a hint of bullshit they won’t take him seriously anymore.
