According to event registration platform @RunSignupHQ, 2363 runners signed-up for the #BayshoreMarathon (Traverse City, MI; May 27) in the first 10 minutes of registration this morning.
Over 500 registrations per minute happened at one point.

@DrTCombs Reach out to the race directly and make the request! The software can handle more options (or making it not required), but the individual race has to update that because it’s often tied to timing and awards. We are seeing more races provide more flexible options.
