Really like Morrison in the 2nd Stu, here's what I wrote summarizing my evaluation in the guide: He’s not the quickest or the most fluid athlete at the position, but he has sound technique, he’s an excellent processor and he has good functional strength – it allows him to stay in phase and prevent targets on most types of route against most types of receiver. He’s a competitor, has good ball skills, plays much bigger than his size suggests in the running game, and takes on much bigger ball carriers. He’s a plus run defender at the position and has improved his play strength over the years. He looks like a Raven CB of old and reminds me of a little less athletic Marlon Humphrey. He would be an ideal target for the Ravens in Round 2 if the medical checks out.

Xavier Watts is a player I'd like the Ravens to draft this year. He processes the game at such a high level, his six interceptions last year were not opportunistic accidents, he creates turnovers with his intelligence and instincts. He is only above-average athletically, but his play speed and therefore his range, from the Post or a split-field role, is very good. He's a tough, gritty run defender, makes excellent open-field tackles and can do a little bit in Man coverage too. The Ravens do normally prioritize high football IQ when drafting their Safeties and have made a lot of good decisions drafting average or below average athletes, who get off their spot more quickly than their athleticism should allow. Watts is in that ballpark but he's more athletic than the Geno Stone prototype. I think he fits the Marcus-Williams-role that the Ravens were hoping to use when they signed the Safety three years ago. I think he could play a split-field role with Ar'darius Washington now, that allows Kyle Hamilton to play in the slot more frequently again. I think he complements what the Ravens already have and could become a key piece of the defensive backfield his first few years in the league. This isn't a pitch for him to be the 1st round pick, I don't think his athletic profile warrants him being selected at pick 27 but if the Ravens trade back from there, or up from 59, I'd love for them to be targeting him.

@Capt_Fishpaste I’d re-evaluate after Luton. Yes it’s a missed opportunity but I’d have taken 7 points from Boro (A), Watford (H), Luton (H) but maybe expecting it in a different order. This tweet depends on the next game mind 😂

What I think the last two home games have shown, neither of which we deserved to win, is that #SAFC are JUST not good enough for the top two. No shame in that, though. We’re a bloody good Championship side that has made huge progress and can still get promoted. HTL.

I'm with Cole that Mahogany is the guy I'd like for the Ravens now at Guard. I agree on the concerns with Base blocks, but he's a heat-seeking missile as a puller. And in pass pro he's more of a street fighter than a technician, but he flat out competes. If they go RB at some point, I'm still all in on Kimani Vidal as a nice complement to what they already have.
