Positively, after last season’s relegation, I feel we’ve stabilised the club and built a strong foundation to kick on next season. Football teaches you a lot about yourself and your players. Bring on 2026/27.

As the 2025/26 season ends, reflecting on my first year as Manager of Runcorn Sports FC. We started strongly, sitting 2nd in November, but inconsistent performances saw us finish 6th. No excuses ,we weren’t good enough, and I expect better from myself and for this club.

We’re launching our new development team and looking for players to join us! Join one of our new managers , Iain on Tuesday 19th May, 6:30pm at St Clements School, Runcorn. Our development side will compete in the Chester & Wirral League for the 26/27 season.

2-1 win for us against a very good @RuncornSportsFC who have improved a lot since last seasons meeting in the same competition. Tough conditions for both, both sides had chances and keepers made some top saves. In the hat for the next round of the Cheshire Cup! 🔴⚫️
