Who's ready for Spring?! 🙌🏻 I'm still enjoying the snow, but I'm not a cold weather person. Strength Endurance Hill Repeats Pyramid Run EZ 2 mi warmup 30, 60, 90, 90, 60, 30 sec mod/hard effort hill repeats x 5 squat jumps at the top, then run back down EZ to finish The hill gets steeper up around the bend. 😁 495 ft elevation gain... I should have ran to 5 miles and would have easily gotten over 500. 5° F, partly sunny Snow and ice, so I wore my trail shoes with Yaktrax. First threshold workout of this training block. 4x8minutes @ ~4:40 / km With less than a month to race day, going to shift gears to dialing in race pace. Somehow the suffering we choose makes the suffering we don't choose more bearable. Have a great weekend!

@runner_mt Tough call! 😅 If it's been a brutal week, I choose sleep 💤—a rested body runs better. But if I’ve got a little energy left, even a short shakeout run helps reset my mind. Gotta find that balance!

It’s ok that I don’t look like a typical competitive endurance runner. I LOVE THAT ABOUT MYSELF because it’s invited many women into the sport who used to believe they needed to have a certain build to sign up for a race. Skinny, muscular, big frame, petite frame…doesn’t matter. What matters is whether or not YOU have a desire to run. That’s it.
