@KayTheRunna I replaced alcoholism with running.
I would run 10km 5 days a week and then a half marathon every weekend without water. It was 20 loops round the estate I lived in.
I don't run anymore. I drink again.
Don't know which is worse.

@KayTheRunna When I was marathon training was always Fridays min 10 mile, Saturday min 15 miles, Sunday 15-22 depending on where I was in the cycle. Would always run one or more organized half marathons at race pace during the cycle too with lengthy warm ups and cool downs. Was great prep.
