Wait for the ending. A black guy tossed his stuff into the trunk of an Uber. When the trunk slammed, the Uber thought it was the back door shutting and pulled off. After maybe ten seconds, he realized his mistake and turned around in the parking lot to retrieve the passenger. The low-impulse passenger tried to resolve the situation with violence and learned a very harsh lesson. We are not your punching bags.

NEW: Man Wanted for Domestic Dispute at IHOP Throws Officer Off Semi, Breaks Leg, Leads to Akron OIS Jeffrey Latson, 34, was accused of confronting his ex-girlfriend at an IHOP and threatening her in front of the entire restaurant. Latson refused to comply with officers and drove off to a nearby Walmart parking lot. Officers then tried to remove him from the truck. A Springfield Township officer was thrown from the cab, suffering a broken leg and a concussion. Thirty minutes later, Akron PD located the semi in a parking lot and attempted to make a stop. Latson fled. He led officers through multiple communities into Akron, striking several vehicles, including police cruisers. As the truck continued moving through a parking lot, two Akron officers and a sheriff’s deputy fired their weapons, striking Latson. Latson was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Latson faces four charges with the Springfield Township Police and two additional charges with the Akron Police.
