From a scouting perspective, Chuck Smith was one of the most technically refined pass rushers to come through Tennessee in the early 1990s. He consistently found ways to pressure quarterbacks by attacking offensive tackles with a pass-rush plan rather than relying solely on athleticism At @Vol_Football, Smith helped lead the Volunteers to the 1990 SEC Championship and developed into one of the conference’s top defensive players. As a senior, he earned First-Team All-SEC honors, led the SEC in sacks, and was named Senior Bowl MVP.
