@0xJuliechen Genuinely curious why Linkedin lobotomised its own platform, by filling it with paid ad's and promoted content.

The biggest and best use case so far for video AI is political. Like or loathe it, its the reality.

Imagine if what you thought AI would bring, actually ended up being the opposide. @BerkeleyHaas found this out, AI didn't free up time, it INTENSIFIED it. 🚨 Spoiler alert. This doesn't have to be a BAD thing. These findings triggered our design lab to begin exploring three core themes of development over at Almach. 1. From "Productivity" to "Cognitive Sustainability" Researchers warn that working with AI often leads to "cognitive multi-threading" and the death of natural pauses. Therefore, we are exploring what it could look like if we embraced "reflection loops" or "synthesis pauses" into our AI workflows. Rather than just automating the next step, force a "grounding" phase where systems present what has been learned and asks for human validation. This aligns with the call for human-centered systems where technology enables creativity rather than merely accelerating the pace. 2. Shift from "Individual Capturing" to "Systems-Level Curation" We continue to argue that the biggest mistake in modern policy is relying on "isolated pilots" instead of building scalable, coordinated ecosystems. We hope to see greater moves towards an organisational nervous systems ---which we are already building with our global partners. The value proposition here is about how individual insights, when curated through a community, become a valuable collective asset. This moves us away from "scope creep" (where individuals just keep taking on more work, usually already explored in other corners of the organisation) and toward building a resilient, shared knowledge bases that outlasts individual contributors. 3. "Leading" vs. "Responding" to AI We ask (in terms of education and professional development) --- Should education lead technological change or respond to it? The consensus is clearly from our research is that it must lead (unfamiliar territory for education we know). We can't just "respond" to AI trends, or you are just another interface or platform. If you "lead," you must define your ethics and structure of how your system will interact with human knowledge. There must be a move towards removing chaotic, intensification, and make AI more attractive, and a "logical" and "safe" choice for organisations struggling with burnout. The Berkeley research (in the comments) identified the problems (intensification, scope creep) and promotes systems-thinking to design the solution (human-centred, scalable, leading-edge governance). In summary, be sustainable, embrace community, and hire a systems thinker. + build with courage. @AlmachAi

Working with schools across the globe implementing our competency framework. Perfect for home and mirco school ... but also perfect for large schooling groups looking to make their curriculum more dynamic. Embed competencies into your project-based learning, labs and workshops over the course of middle and high school years. We measure these at activated, exposed, engaged and embodied.

OK, have to be honest. It’s utter madness, obviously. But part of me has some grudging admiration for Keir Starmer for his bloody mindedness. Country is f****d mind.
