Attention is Architecture. Beyond a personal capacity or a measurable asset to be managed, attention has become a property of our environments. It is being organized—by the structures around you, and by the structures you choose consciously. linkedin.com/pulse/attentio…

@JamesMelville Degree of sociopathy is truly the spectrum we should now be measuring people's character.

@RobertGreene You've documented power, mastery, human nature, seduction in thorough analysis of past events and personalities. As we hinge on what is perceivably a new future era of human existence, what do you feel might change from what you've learned about these subjects?
English

@sampadcodes @RobertGreene Question why the dead time is uncomfortable.
What is it about the dead time that you struggle with? The stillness? The lack of immediate results you mention? What if the best way to "push through" is re-evaluate what "push through" tangibly means?
English

@RobertGreene In Mastery, you emphasize patience during the apprenticeship phase.
As someone with ADHD at 18, I struggle with the dead time when effort doesn't show visible results.
Any advice for pushing through?

@HetkeBrian In theory and belief, I tend to agree. Understanding what that mind is, that’s the fun part. I like to consider it the Creative Intelligence or the Source (as per @RickRubin). It exists whether we recognize it or not… if anything is able to truly recognize it at all.

Then stop looking “out there” and turn your attention inward.
Reality does not appear on the screen of perception.

We cannot understand the true nature of the Universe, unless we question deeply. I want to know what is real, even if the answer is total obliteration of my consciousness.

@alexeyguzey Further, what’s cool is that cells somehow self-regulate to allow their role in the larger whole, whether conscious or not. Eg. A brain cell doesn’t keep growing til it is a skin cell.

@Sarahhuniverse The Rolling Stones are from Europe. They eat blood pudding for breakfast.

@AlpacaAurelius Humans are nature itself. We are simply expressions of it in the same way plants are.
English

nature is so beautiful
it turns out that plants we see as weeds aren't actually "weeds", but are there to help heal something. many of them are nitrogen fixers, repleting the soil, or even cleaning up pollution. others are medicines that we just don't know how to use yet. nature is always healing. humans are breaking.

Oh c’mon, @OQLF. I was trying to do a faurevoir with you and prolong our rencontre. Where’s that jolie jouale hiding. Let’s eat some lard together.
@Jean__Emard, since the OQLF blocked me, let me answer. I’m just a guh with a sense of humour and a foot in reality. #canpoli
