Everything Pep’s doing rn is slowly pushing Nico G away. We were told he’s the future, Rodri’s successor but he’s not being treated like one.
He only plays when Rodri’s injured or in cup games… and lately not even that. And it’s not even about performances we have a higher win percentage when he plays over Rodri.
Now his future looks uncertain so is Rodri’s… radio silence on his extension for months now, and we could genuinely lose both this summer if he keeps banishing him to bench for bernie..
Pep’s favoritism will deadass be the end of us.

@trevormfisher I had a season ticket about 15 rows behind Helen 💙

If I could ask you one favour today @ManCity players. If @ErlingHaaland is playing in the League Cup Final, please pass to him! Cheers 🩵

@ChrisGPackham @Helen_Whately Hey Chris, the effect the UK going met zero is negligible, maybe your time and influence would be better spent in America, India & China as the effect there would be far more influential than in little old UK.
I agree it needs to happen but it needs to be on a larger scale !
English

On BBC Question Time,
@Helen_Whately just said ‘we can’t afford Net Zero’ . She is a human health hazard and grossly misinformed or lying . Time to call out the lunatics leading us to hell . No facts , no truth , no integrity - no hope.
English

@talkSPORT Good luck Danny, I hope everything goes well for you.
Your post is an inspiration and must have been extremely tough to not only present but to draft.
You have pushed my button and I can't ignore going to my GP.
Thank you 💙👍

@robin_szn Thought he may have been Pep's no2, to ensure a seamless crossover !
Good call though 👍

With ten men for the majority of Tuesday night, Manchester City kept pushing, kept trying to force something out of nothing. It wasn’t pretty at times, but the fight was there... and in that chaos, one player really stood out.
Abdukodir Khusanov.
He didn’t just cope with the situation, he embraced it. His recovery pace to chase down balls over the top, the awareness to read danger early, and that physical edge in duels.
There’s always been a bit of risk to his game, that aggressive streak, but on this occasion it felt controlled, channelled in the right way. Manchester City against a side like Real Madrid, in a game like that, he looked anything but out of place.
What’s been just as encouraging is how much calmer he’s becoming in possession. He’s not just clearing his lines and hoping for the best anymore. He is starting to trust himself on the ball, to step in and play.
With the way the game is now, you need centre backs who can defend huge spaces, recover quickly, and still be composed enough to contribute in possession. Khusanov ticks those boxes. Put the right partner next to him, whether that’s Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol or Marc Guehi, and you’ve got the foundations of something solid.
It’s been a rough period for Pep Guardiola and Man City lately. But if you’re looking for something to hold onto, something that actually feels like progress, it’s Abdukodir Khusanov.
Over the course of just this season, he’s gone from a "promising player", to looking like a genuine cornerstone for this team.
After a night like that against Madrid, it’s hard not to feel like we’ve found the future of our defence.

@MCFC_Jacky Not seen a lot of Bayern until the recent Champs league game but Vinnie seems to have them ticking.
Knock it around when they can, but can go direct when they need to.
I'd love to see a Mancini approach again, fast and entertaining.
English

@AdamSalkie It'll be more a mental thing rather than a physical.
The fitness he can get back, but heading into a heavy challenge is another thing !!
English

It wouldn’t surprise me if Rodri left Manchester City in the coming months, to extend his playing career. The injury was devastating, and there’s a real chance we’ve already seen him at his peak. This league doesn’t really lend itself to him returning to that level, playing the way he once did. Whenever he does go, he leaves as a bona fide City legend - an extraordinary footballer.

@mcfclou Sorry Doku is a no for me, earlier in the season I thought he’d changed, but this leopard hasn’t changed his spots. How are the forwards to know what he’s going to do when he has no idea himself !!
Put it in the box early
English

@City_Zone_ I haven’t seen a lot of Bayern, but did see them in CL and looked impressive, fairly direct when needed to be.
English

@AdamSalkie Every week without fail, we don’t play to his strengths which is criminal
English

@mikemcclean5 Not seen the game, but looking at the team it's very attacking without having any creators, so guess we're going to go front to back quickly, which isn't usually in Pep's vocabulary 👍
English

@Londonblue_2 Might help if we have him some quality service, we create very little !
English

@PeterFinchGolf Hey Pete, so sorry to hear your news.
It's time to spend time with your Mum and support your Dad.
Spend every minute you can, I know it's tough, but the job will wait.
My Mum passed away last November and it's really hard and you forever want one more day 💙
Keep strong bud💙

@GeronimoMorgans You'll never find a direct replacement, we never replaced (with the same quality) David Silva, KDB, Vinny etc.
These guys are one offs and can't be replaced with a 'like for like'.
English

@MC_frnk But we stopped using him as a weapon.
If your not going to use it might as well go for a better shot stopper 👍
