If that’s the case, you can kind of go with two options that are pretty great. One would be a product from El Gato that has an XLR but also has macro buttons and dials and you can use the macro to make flags while recording so that you can reference them lateror if you just want an audio interface you could do something like the ice Scarlet, which would give you just XLR both products if you’re using the shore SM7 you would need a cloud lifter
