Flowers in for a big Pay-Zay! The Ravens must commit to the 5th year option by 5/1. That number is $27.3M, the same as the 2026 non-exclusive franchise tag for a WR. Should the Ravens pass on the option, Zay will be an unrestricted free agent in 2027.

He isn't a prototypical #1, but can you really judge much in the Ravens' passing game when their OL can't hold up for more than a couple seconds? The Ravens declined Lindy's 5th-yr option ($21M), then just offered him $22M/year. Will they have similar regrets in a year?

@bmore_ray52 Think of all they've invested in EDC & the faith they've shown in him. Oz's hand-picked successor, kept from taking interviews elsewhere for years while Oz waited to retire. It will take a lot more than 1 disastrous season to give him the axe, conspiracies aside.

@RussellStReport Conspiracytheory: Bisciotti will not fire DeCosta even if they have a disastrous season. Regardless of what Bisciotti says, he is fine with them just competing cause it keeps the value of the team up for him to sell. A complete overhaul of the front office/rebuild could hurt that
