Everyone wants their team to copy the Texans and Seahawks big nickel model, but one thing you have to understand, your CB need to be physical and come up and tackle in the run game, not every CB in the NFL is built to do that. Seahawks'Witherspoon and Josh Jobe Texans Lassiter and Stingley Not to mention the physicality of the guys they have playing big nickel, Everybody loves the scheme but their are some key factors that make it work.

Worth noting OL coach Dwayne Ledford went from Dalman to Neuzil (UDFA) last year. Jovaughn Gwyn followed him from ATL, the team signed Pinter and drafted Beerntsen in RD7. Wouldn’t be shocked if WK1 OC1 in BAL is one of those three.

Calais Campbell was very nearly traded back to the Ravens by the Dolphins at the 2024 deadline—it fell apart at the very end, and Campbell wasn't pleased. He wanted to go back to Baltimore. Now he gets to.

Six-time Pro-Bowl DE Calais Campbell, who played in Baltimore from 2020-2022, is returning to sign a one-year deal with the Ravens, per source. Campbell will 40 on Sept. 1 and this will be his 19th NFL season.

Post-draft Salary Cap update: Ravens currently have $27.7M in Cap space. After signing their 11 draft pick, that will fall to $22.3M (UDFAs will only have minimal impact on Cap). Factoring in future expenses, they should have around $8-9M in “effective” (ie useable) Cap space.
